The problem we solve
The router sits by the front door because that’s where the internet comes in. The desktop lives in the corner nearest the jack. The camera you want over the driveway has no outlet near it. Long cables across the floor or along the wall look messy and get tripped over.
The result you get
Wired internet in the room where you work or watch, with the cable hidden: inside walls where that’s practical, along trim, through closets or the attic. Devices that support PoE (Power over Ethernet) get their power from the same network cable, so a camera, Wi-Fi access point, doorbell, display or sensor can go where it’s needed. No new outlet needed for PoE devices.
What's included
- A look at your space and a plan for the cable route, before any work.
- Network cable (Ethernet) runs to a router, desktop, TV, game console or home office.
- PoE for cameras, Wi-Fi access points, doorbells, displays and sensors that support it, with a PoE switch or injector at the network end.
- Wall plates and labelled ends, so anyone can tell what each cable is for.
- Each run tested before we call it done.
Important note
Low-voltage network cable only. We don’t do electrical work on your home’s mains power (new outlets, circuits, panels); that is work for an electrician, and we’ll say so. Only devices made for PoE can be powered this way.
